Description:
This is a complete bolt-on turbo kit with DIY installation instructions and includes all the required components for the 4,2 1HZ Toyota diesel engine on the Land Cruiser.
This kit includes:
Turbo, Air filter connector hose, Turbo/manifold adaptor, Turbo Exhaust Stainless steel downpipe/tailpipe, Oil feed hose set, Oil drain pipe set, Heat shield, Breather pipe set, All bolts and mounting components and Installation instructions.
Turbo boost is limited to 0.6 bar (60 kpa) and the EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp.) at 600ºC max in the manifold. This system will improve power and torque by about 25% and also reduce fuel consumption by 10%. The low boost pressure and EGT will ensure long term engine reliability.
Our first turbo system was fitted in 2015 and that vehicle has done more than 300 000 km without any problems. To date, we have sold over 130 of these turbo systems to automotive fitment businesses and private clients.
We also supply and recommend the following additions:
Intercooler systems – helps to increase power by another 8-12% and also reduces combustion temperatures. Its highly recommended for vehicles that carry loads or tow trailers.
Free flow exhaust system, to reduce EGT and improve turbo lag/response.
